So. I went to see “The Soloist” starring Robert Downey Junior last Friday night. And it was actually pretty good. I mean… you know. As good as it could have been. I cried. But anyway, that’s neither here nor there. There was a trailer for the new “Terminator” movie and it looks kind of sick. I’ve never seen any of the “Terminators,” but it turns out that robots are actually really freaking scary, since one recently invented yeast or something, and long story short, scientists are teaching robots to take data and create THEIR OWN THEORIES now. Which is essentially the same thing as thinking for themselves. Which is just one step away from MASS HUMAN GENOCIDE IMPARTED BY ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE.
The only thing that brings me peace anymore is the Japanese show in which this sad robot gets shot with bullets and a child cries… and then laughs. I have to watch it on loop at night just so I can go to sleep.
